I would argue that US drug laws are worse. I believe the UK has a class B classification for marijuana wheras US has a schedule 1. Class B means it has possible uses medicinally where schedule 1 means it is only a harmful substance with no potential medicinal use

I think I saw a documentary once that one of the main reasons hemp is illegal is because it is a cheaper substitute in cloth ang paper making. Logging companies needed help to protect their business. And then tobacco companies and Liquor Companies came in. Penn and Teller Bullshit also said that alcohol is the drug that causes the most death. So why don’t we ban that too(If it’s true)?
