start looking for something else now and then quit. you said that your husband’s job doesnt quite cover everything, so maybe you just need a part time evening job…alot of moms stay home with the kids during the day and waitress a couple nights a week for some extra money…maybe you could do somthing like that…

NEVER quit a job before you have another one secured. Ever. So, start looking for something else. Someone with rejection and depression issues should never work in a job in marketing or sales.

In the meantime, suck it up. They aren’t rejecting YOU, they’re rejecting whatever it is you’re selling. Stop taking it personally.

First of all quit that job NOW!!! Secondly go get the book THE SECRET by Rhonda Byrne. Lastly take a week to tend to your needs. You can’t take care of your family if you don’t take care of yourself first. There are other ways to make money and if you seek you shall find. You mental health is key

You should try to find a different job before you quit. But you should definitely quit. Having mom at home for you is not that great if she’s an unhappy mom. And seeing your husband is probably more important than any job. Maybe start saving a little now and set a date for yourself to have a better job. I’ve been down this road before. It’s the worst thing to go to a job you hate every day and then not even get to see your love at the end of the day just makes it that much worse. Good luck and make YOURSELF happy. Everyone wins when Mom is happy.

If there is no chance for improvement at your current job, you might want to start looking for a new one. You never know what could be out there until you start looking. Give it try!

  8. Pinky says:

I would try to find another job that would be just perfect for you and then quit the bad one. No need for you to feel depressed over a job. Your family is the most important in your life and you cannot be there for them if you are depresssed. Good luck in finding another job( I’m sure there is something out there for you, talk to people and let them know you are looking, grocerystores bulletinboards, look everywhere, newspapers, call your friends, they may know someone or about a job opening in their company) Take care!

Honestly, there is only so much people can take!! I know all too well the CRAP a job can throw at you. If you work 1st shift, then possibly changing to 2nd or 3rd would make a world of difference. It’s 1st shift that all the bosses are around & can’t make up their minds what it is they want!!!

Of course, the other alternative is to look for another job. That is, if you have time!!!! Cause I know that I sure didn’t have any time except to go to & from work, take a shower, eat, & sleep!! I worked 12 hour shifts 7 days per week, sometimes longer.

If you are working those crazy hours: the only way you can actually look for another job is to take a vacation or sick day!!

    Good Luck!!

    Hello There,
Actually it depends on alot of things. I faced exactly what you are talking about.my advice is to check out this link:

Work Depression, Panic Attacks and Stress

  11. Samm says:

I am in sales, talk about rejection.

Have your hormone levels and your thyroid tested.
If either of these are under acting, it can cause depression.

Work on some mental health therapies that can help you out.
Meditation. Remember, do not take it personally, it is just a method for earning money. Do not think about work before or after work. Just shut it off.

If you cannot do that you may need to change jobs. But first make a list of the pros and cons before rashly making a decision.

Good Luck , Happy Easter and God Bless.

Find a job first and then quit this job. It may take some time, but at least you have income and something to do in the meantime.

  14. Richard D says:

Don’t just quit until you find another job. Sleeping under a bridge and eating out of the trash can be pretty bad for your mental health as well.

  15. majnun99 says:

Keep working there and look for another job.

  16. I know, I know!!!! says:

Maybe you could ask your supervisor about taking a few days off for personal reasons, (like a leave, or some vacation days)
During that time maybe you could look for another job. At least if you cant find anything else you still have the option of going back to work if you have to. Good luck.
